How much do wedding flowers cost?

The Knot.com recommends spending about 8% of your total wedding budget on flowers. The price is also dependent on the amount and types of flowers used. Using flowers that are in season can also help reduce the total cost of wedding flowers.

I have a small floral budget; do you have a price minimum?

We try to work with weddings of all sizes and budgets. In order to give our customers the best service possible we only accept one event per day, and therefore require a minimum order of $1000.

How do I set up a consultation?

Email or call us to set up a complimentary consultation. Designs by Courtney is a home-based (Bothell, WA) business, and is able to meet clients anywhere in the greater Seattle area.

Do you sell cut flowers for do it yourself weddings?

Yes, cut flowers can be purchased through Designs by Courtney for your wedding. There are some restrictions and minimum quantities that must be purchased, so please contact us for more information.

Do you charge a delivery fee?

Yes, wedding flower deliveries are subject to a fee which is added to the total flower cost, and varies depending on the wedding location and amount of setup required. Typically the fee ranges from $50 to $250.

How do I reserve my wedding date?

A $100.00 nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve the date. At that time contracts will also be signed, confirming all of the details.

Where do you deliver?

Designs by Courtney can provide wedding flowers to the greater Puget Sound area including: Seattle, Tacoma, Lynnwood, Gig Harbor, Everett, Whidbey Island, Bainbridge Island, Redmond, Monroe, Snohomish, Bellevue, Kirkland, Renton, Kent and Marysville. We love to travel and can create flowers almost anywhere, so please contact us if you would like more information regarding a location outside our delivery area.

What are your prices?

Wedding flower prices depend on the season, type of flower used, size of arrangement and the amount of time it takes to make each one. A consultation is the best way to determine how much each arrangement is going to cost and a quote will be given after the meeting.

What forms of payment do you take?

Designs by Courtney accept cash and checks for payment of services. Credit card payment is also available through PayPal. Invoices must be paid in full 2 weeks prior to wedding date.

Do you provide any rental items?

Yes, we have an extensive selection of rental vases and décor supplies available for our clients. Tea lights, Manzanita branches, crystals, apothecary jars, and flameless candles are some of the items available. We do not rent table linens, draping, or tableware. Rental items must be returned within one week of the event, or pickup service can be requested for an extra fee. Client is responsible for any damages. Please contact us for more information.
